GENERAL

What are the prices for translations or language checks?
Since our translation agency wishes to satisfy as many customers as possible to have them decide for our services more often, we do not exaggerate our prices, but provide reasonable prices comparable to those of other translation agencies or even lower. On the website of our translation sections you will not be able to find explicit price rates because we believe that fixed prices for an extensive range of different texts we deal with would be too narrow. Before we start with the translating or proofreading, we first agree with the customer on the final price of the translation or the language check, and set the deadline.
What does the final price of a translation depend on?
The final price depends on the text's complexity, how urgently the translation needs to be finished and on the quality of the text in the original language – the translation of a semantically and grammatically correct text is thus cheaper than the translation of a semantically and grammatically incorrect text. We will always inform you of a rough price for the entire translation as well as the price rate for the translator's page (i.e. 1500 characters). We will not charge you VAT for our services. We also offer you a range of discounts, which you may read more about in the DISCOUNTS column.

Which special offers do you offer your customers?

We will not charge you VAT for our services. We also offer you a range of discounts about which you may read more in the DISCOUNTS column.

Is it possible to combine the discounts?
Discounts can be used only individually, which means they cannot be transferred or combined.

What is the deadline to pay the issued invoices for the services?
After the task of translation or proofreading has been completed, the company issues an invoice which needs to be settled by the customer within 30 days from the time the invoice had been issued.

TRANSLATION

How much time do you need to finish a translation?
On average, a translator translates 5 to 6 translation pages per day, depending on the level of terminological difficulty and coherence of the original text. If the client needs the translation very quickly, he/she agrees on it with the translator. Exceeding the translator's norm results in a higher price rate (supplement to urgency).
What are urgent translations?
The urgency of a translation refers to the time in which the customer needs the translation to be finished. If there is an urgent translation, our translators also work during weekends, holidays and »over night«.
What is a translator's page?
A translator's page comprises 1500 characters in the source language. If the number of characters in the original text cannot be determined, the account statement will be made for the 1500 characters in the translated text.
What sort of texts do you translate?
We translate general, technical, specialized and literary texts, films and TV series.

How much can a translator translate in one day?
To think that a translator only sits down in front of a computer and starts to translate is wrong. A quality translator, who guarantees an adequate and quality translation, must first understand the text in detail before starting to translate. The translator can do this quickly only if the source text is semantically and grammatically correct. The daily effect of a translator in an average 8-hour workday is a lot smaller than what a lot of people might think.
